November 18, 1929 – September 18, 2013

Frances Lucille Hardison of Modesto passed away peacefully at 11:50 AM on September 18, 2013 at Pacifica Senior Living of Modesto. She was 83.

Fran was born the first of three children to Elling M. and Nellie Jacobsen of Southern California.

She married Roy Hardison in 1949 and together they raised three sons.

Frances was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and friend.

She and her husband Roy lived in Tokyo for 8 1/2 years and also traveled extensively in Europe and Asia.

Frances is survived by her husband Roy Hardison, sons Martin (Doreen), Bradley (Daria) and Steven all of Modesto. She is survived by her two younger brothers and their spouses; Russ and Jacque Jacobsen and Charles and Elaine Jacobsen of Southern California.  
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of her life was held at the home of Brad and Daria Hardison on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

  4. I remember Aunt Fran giving me a doll that she bought for me when she was in China / Japan? I was at Russ and Jacque’s house in the room with the white carpet when she gave it to me. I think I was about 9? Maybe younger. I still have that doll.
    I am so sorry for the loss Aunt Frans’ family and friends will have to bare. I know she is watching over you. My heart and prayers are with you.

  5. Mom you will be with me every day in my heart. Your unconditional love and devotion to your family will be with me forever. I’m so thankful of all the times we sat and just talked. We had lots of fun times together. We will watch over Dad like I promised. Till we meet again huggs.
